C355, T6 :
Aluminum-Silicium-copper
Aluminum C355 contains between 4.5- 5.5% silicon and 1.0-1.5% copper as the main alloying elements. C355 is more resistant than A356 but has less ductility yet it maintains good mechanical properties at high temperatures compared to A356.
Mainly used in aeronautics and the automotive industry for parts such as pump bodies, engine cylinders, transmission boxes, and heat exchanger.
