Carbon steel
Carbon steel is a steel with carbon content (between 0.12 and 0.5%). It includes only a very small amount of other alloying elements. This type of steel is very strong and impact resistant. It is also an environmentally friendly solution as it can be more easily recycled than other metals.

These types of carbon cast steel readily replace the mild A36 type steel used to make steel plates and bars for machine shops.
