We are pleased to announce that effective November 1, 2022, Fusium has acquired BSL Casting, a steel foundry based in Rimouski. We are also pleased to announce that BSL Casting will continue to operate under this name and will continue to operate from its current plant. All contact information will remain the same.
Specialized manufacturer of ferrous and non-ferrous castings ranging from prototypes to medium series runs, Fusium was created in 2018 following the acquisition by Saguenay Foundry owners of TMA Foundry in Trois-Rivières. The acquisition of BSL Casting allows Fusium to become a more flexible supplier for its existing customers.
With several customers of Saguenay Foundry looking for steel and stainless-steel parts and many BSL Casting customers wanting cast iron parts, this acquisition will now make it possible to offer a more complete range of products to our partner customers. With three foundries located in Quebec, each one offering a different niche product, Fusium is unquestionably a supplier of choice for the North American foundry market.

Fusium and BSL Casting share the same values and our goal is to continue to provide an excellent customer service and to continue to manufacture quality parts. Fusium’s long-term plan is to add its own flavor to each division to help the whole group grow. Long live the foundrymen!
